Anybody got a transcription of the Iraqi tune Ya Nabat Al-Rehan in maqam Lami?
Yair Dalal taught it at a course I went to a while back but I didn't keep any record of it. He has a recording on Jordi Savall's "Orient-Occident II"
CD (as "Ya Nabat Elrichan") but that's a rather slowed-down meditation on the tune. There is a YouTube by Dudu Tasa and the Kuwaitis but that's so
remixed with party noises it's hard to hear the underlying melody. It's a fabulously uplifting tune and I'd like to get it right.
