My latest build: An Iranian Barbat
For those unfamiliar, it's variant of the Oud from Iran with a longer neck and smaller body. More info here:

Well done Jo!
It appears that you are using a smaller mold for the bowl on this Barbat as opposed to your ouds, right?
I like the smaller bodies as I find them to put less strain on you. I have an oud with a smaller body made by an Iranian luthier. There are pros and
cons to it but I wanted one to try and it's pretty good (but very different sound compared with my arabic ouds).

Yes, that's correct - smaller body and longer neck for a barbat.
