New Nahat copy by Maurice Shehata
Hello Everyone,
I thought that I'd post a few pics of my new oud. Yehia at the Nile Shop co-ordinated the deal for me and as usual did a great job. I asked him
about a Nahat copy and he suggested one that Maurice Shehata made for Tsugumi that he also arranged. I made a couple of changes in the inlay on the
back and the rossette. I was looking for something very traditional and deep sounding, and this oud has it. It is a real joy to play.

Rosetta and the back of oud are only different from my Nahat replica.
The inlay in the back of oud referred to 1958 Georges Nahat Replica by Dr.Oud.
I think that your Rosetta was made referring to the photo(Nahat of Brazil) that I sent Yehia.
By the way, I sent you email about Linda Manzer Guitar. Did you read it?

I am the owner of the Brazilian Nahat. I bought it from a man in the Netherlands.
