a question about the developpment of rast taqasim
Hello
i have keep in mind that sometimes players use nahawand on the lower register during the developpement of a taqasim in rast.
i'm not sure about, can be a confusion from me
I cannot catch it back , do you have an exemple in mind of a taqasim using this, any ressource to refer to ?

Do you mean Nahawand jins/tetrachord from Nawa on 5th course? Or more than that?

no really on the lower register, nahawand on rast degree. Maybe introducing from nawa but getting down to rast degree on nahawand scale.
I have a memory of something like this, from a workshop, but never get it on a satisfying way while playing.

Was talking with a friend this morning, found back the ressource from a workshop
Seems just i made a confuse memory from a rather simple thing.
It was from nahawand scale actually, using the nahawand on nawa (dominant) as a gate to change the main tetrachord, like going down to rast or another
one.
Thats' it !
