Drilling string holes on tie on oud bridge.
Do the holes need to be angled? I purchased some african blackwood and I want to build another weird "kanun". I want to make the nut and bridge with a suble footprint and hopefully get a spruce top to sing.

They don't have to be but I angle them downward as it goes towards the back of the bowl.
