Wood cumbus?

Does anyone here own a cumbus that has the wood bowl?
Questions about this: can it accept regular la Bella ou80a Cfadgc strings ? How do you like the sound? There’s barely any videos on YouTube of this instrument.

I've seen several wooden bowl cumbus. One was quite old.

I think any of them can take oud strings, even a high pitch set like that.

After all, they were made for metal strings.

As for the sound, that would put it in "oudola" sound territory.

I used to work for a music store that imported many instruments from Cumbus.

Frankly, I like the sound of a cumbus with nylon strings. But it is a personal taste.
