Najarian electric oud----WHAT A BLAST!!!
I hate to sit here and write about what fun I'm having, kinda' selfish. But, since it is oud related, here I go: I purchased a Najarian electric oud
about 3-4 months ago. I actually went to his house and picked it up. I should add, Viken is a very nice guy who takes great pride in his work. Okay,
back to the oud--- Ever since I brought it back home I have been playing almost every day! It gets better though. I now run it through an effects
pedal and oh the wonderful sounds it makes. It sounds GREAT to begin with, but adding effects allows me to experiment and delve into non-Middle
Eastern styles that, to me, sound amazingly good. I'm still what I consider a beginner, but I have branched out into other areas as it were. Secondly,
and many may not be supportive of this statement---ever since I have had my electric Najarian, I have only picked up my Sandi a couple of times. It's
that good!! Anyway, if anyone is considering purchasing a Najarian electric oud, I would have to say GO FOR IT!! You will not regret it. He also made
me a custom hardshell case for it whcih is extremely nice. Didn't mean to go on like that but I just wanted to share my oud happiness!!

Orahim, which one did you get? There is an E1000 and and E2000. I have seen the 1000, but I have not seen the 2000, which looks a whole lot more
traditional.

So is that your Turkish oud for sale now on ebay? (The listing mentions a new Najarian electric oud, and a Sandi. Quite a coincidence, if not!)

I bought the E1000 because I liked the look of it--a bit more untraditional. And yes, that is my Turkish oud on ebay right now. It is pretty good for
someone who is just getting into it. After almost a year of playing, here and again, I still feel like I'm just getting into it--still so much to
learn! It has a nice sound to it (at least I think so) and I'm not sure what kind of strings are on it, but overall, it's a good oud for a good price.
So, if anyoe is interested, bid away!!
