Throwat Shalalah Mouhammad
Does anybody recognize the name Throwat Shalalah Mouhammad-- as that of An Egyptian Oud maker? I purchased this oud in Jerusalem, and I was told it
was Syrian, smuggled into the country, but the sticker lists the above name ( says the vendor0 to distract fromm the illegal import.
It seems to look a lot like a Fathi Amin oud. I am trying to see if the sales person gave me a rooster and bull story, or
what...Any info would be of great help.

noudist, welcome to the forums!
I definitely think that it looks very similar to another Amin oud that we've seen on ebay in the past, though it is most definitely a different one.
It looks more Egyptian to me than Syrian, as well.
Do you have a sound clip, by any chance?
Again, welcome! Enjoy the forums to the fullest!
