Issa Boulos Taqasim
Check out this taqasim Nahawand by composer and oudist Issa Boulos, director of the Middle East Music Ensemble at the University of Chicago. (I'm
also proud to say, my oud teacher)

Hey guys,
Thanks for this taqsim Jameelo! Issa is excellent, and I agree with Mav.
He is very expressive. His style is very meditative and beautiful. Does he have any Oud CDs available for purchase?

Issa is an excellent oudist and very talented in general. He has such a delicate playing style that is in contrast to many other styles. Here is
another one for you to hear.
This taqasim is played on an Ibrahim Sukkar oud (syrian)
Meeka, Issa is working on a CD I believe. Not sure if it is his own compositions/taqasim or what. To be sure it will have some great sounds on it.

I am also proud to say that Issa is my teacher. Issa is extremely knowledgable about the oud and middle eastern music. Also, his performances are
inspiring!
