the oud was made by Mouhamad Subhi Dakka wa awladu
in 2000 in Damascus. im still gathering more info about what the oud is made of. for now here are the pics.

It looks kind of like a cheap ebay type oud...the finish is quite heavy and the whole instrument just looks kind of touristy...No offense it intended,
and I have not heard the instrument. This is just a quick opinion based on its appearance. What kind of wood is it?

It almost looks like it might be a small, child's oud. The birds are cute.

i will post a sound clip very soon. and it isn't a child's oud. it is a full sized oud.
