Brazilian Rosewood Oud

Hello every body I'm over the moon I have just brought my oud from Cairo. Its totally made form Brazilian Rosewood with European spruce top.

I spent one year collecting the wood to find suitable pieces.

The wood is pre-banned and is over 50 years old.

Mourice Shehata did a great job and its a pleaure to deal with him.

I promise to post pictures and an mp3 so that you can all listen to how an oud made from Brazilian rosewood sounds like.

So Shehata made the oud out of wood that you collected? That's awesome.
