Amaizing PEG BOX...What a job Maurice does with his pegboxes where the Pegs are tuned with new strings and holds still no slipping....That is the
first thing i look at before buying a OUD,Very important to have good pegs that tunes good and easy.

In that case, I'll offer you $2 for it! 100% profit. Sounds like a deal to me : ) j/k.
I know what you mean about the pegbox. The pegs are sooo smooth. They don't get stuck when you turn them and the best thing, they never slip! I love
my shehata. The only way I would ever let it go is for an all ebony shehata. Nothing else though.

Samir,
You probably already know this, but Ali Khalifa died about twelve years ago. The instruments produced after his death are apparently of fairly poor
quality. I see that you are bidding on these three instruments at eBay UK. Take a close look at the photos. They do not look like quality instruments
to me.

Yes I dont advise you to go for those khalifa ouds from ebay UK.
I had a few of them they are nothing close to the quality of instruments you have got. I meen your on a perfect streak for a oud collection. They make
ok gifts if you know a kid who wants to learn but other then that they wont add to your collection.

THANK YOU GREC AND SAMIR FOR YOUR ADVICE
Thank you Greg and thank you Samir for letting me know ,I thought that they where real good ouds ,I saw Samir selling one Khalifa a while ago .I Am
going to order from Nazih Ghadban Oud # 973 or 1080 or both not sure yet .I just had a price from him now .Thanks again for the advice that is very
nice of you .....
PS. just bought OUD 1080 from Mr. Ghadban.Very nice Oud. There is a deferent between the lebanese oud and the Egyptian in sound ,for me i say the
Lebanese is a RANNAN The egyptian has a deeper sound ...Nazih's Oud 1025 has a very nice soft sound .My teacher wael Loves it and Mike wanted to buy that oud
from me. but After replacing the pegs that oud is a peace of art and the sound is excellent. It is worth every penny you spend at Mr. Ghadban and Mr.
Shahata you get quality Ouds.
