Greetings Fellow oud players,
After many weeks of silence and lack of postings, I took the time to record something a little different. Somone posted the link to a new
program called Audacity which caught my attention. I was able to record myself playing 3 different instruments (Oud, Darbuka, and Tambourine) and
layer them. This recording is a little longer than usual so please bare with me. The style is a little different. Seeing as how Samircanada posted
something from his native country of Lebanon, I thought it would be nice to post something from my native country of Libya. The middle part is
traditional Libyan tunes that you would hear at a wedding. The beginning an end are taqassim in Bayati and Saba on D. I hope you guys enjoy please
provide all the feedback you can. Here you go:

That was amazing!! I am really touched by that melody because i am libyan too and those traditional old pieces are just perfect !!
