1899 Manol

For anyone interested, Mal Barsamian has been invited by the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston to play the 1899 Manol the Museum owns. The event will take place on November 9th at the Museum and is part of the Sounds of the Silk Road: Musical Instruments of Asia Exhibit.
There is more information on the MFA web site.
On Dececember 5th Peter Kyvelos will discuss the oud's background.

Thank you Jonathan for the site info; I knew I forgot something. In case anyone in the Boston area is interested, Mal has been playing at the Middle East Resaurant Mass Ave Cambridge with Harry Bedrossian on keyboard and Charlie Dimirjian on dumbeg.
