This is my 1st post here in this forum though i have been watching it for a while! i am really a new guy in this oud thingy hence I would like to know
if any of you have heard of this maker hassan Celebi. Any info would be very much appreciated.
I have just got this instrument about 4 days ago and eversince i started playing it I fell in love with it. Prior to this I was playing the guitar and
a few other isntruments. I tuned this turkish Ud to the traditional Arabic tuning of C F A D G C and i thout it woudl be cool coz based on my readings
here it is okie to tune a Turkish Ud to an arabic but not vice versa due to the tension impossed on the sound board.
I already tried to do a recording of a song using a simple mic and my laptop. However I will need some help in uploading it can anybody kindly help
me? Thanks!
