Wow this is a really old forum. Either way. I bought my first oud from Lark in the morning (their professional Turkish model) back in 2003 and the
name on the inside of the oud is Ilhan Cakan along with an e-mail and instrument number saying it was made 1-2-2003. The e-mail inside the oud is
www.Ilhancakan@ixir.com. --> not a typo. Not sure if that works. ixir.com is a deadlink now.
It actually is a pretty amazing instrument although in retrospect, I could have done a little more research first. Hope that helps. How did you
