Update
I have updated the My Ouds Page. There are pictures of the ebony and palisander Maurice Shehata ouds, and there are pictures of the old Egyptian oud I just
purchased. The maker of that oud was Mohamad el-Hifnawi, who was the relative of the great violin player, Ahmad el-Hifnawi. The oud is in remarkable
condition for being over 80 years old. It was purchased from a relative of Mohamad el-Qasabji, and was one of Qassab's ouds, which were numerous I'm
sure. I'm lucky to have it, and many thanks for all of you who sent me their congratulations on Jameel's thread and via personal email. I'm still
flying pretty high over this find. Also, many thanks to Adel Salameh for his information about Mohamad el-Hifnawi.

Hi Mike,
As usual, Maurice work is both artistic and impressive.
Could you please be specific about the woods used in the Hifnawi oud?
100,000,000,000,000 congratulations man!
Best Regards,
Hatem
