hey guys, i tried just now to upload an awesome taksim by an Egyptian player, but it's 20 min long and just too big. but here is some great playing by C. Tanrikorur, who was one of the greatest modern ud players and composers.

Hi Mav,

Great files man. How about Usstaz Tanrikorur's pupil, the excellent oud player, Necati Celik? This is a great dialogue between Necati on oud and Halil Karaduman on kanun. These guys are feeling each other man! :airguitar: This is not the whole track. I just cropped the taksim and sirto. A great CD as a whole though, for sure. Check David Parfitt's site for a review here.

Mike

Hey fellas,

Once again, great clips Mavro! Thanks a lot for sharing. Cinucen is a master.

Oudman, I think the clip Mav was talking about was for Sayyid M.M. Husayn, from the Classical Music of Egypt CD. I had it on the MP3 page a long time ago. It's about a 20 minute taqsim, and I think you know it. Also, if you want to email the Simon clip, I can try to compress it and put it in this thread.

Take care guys,
Mike

P.S. Check out the new MP3 for Samir Tahar.
