Upcoming Performances by Kan Zaman Ensemble
Pomona Colleges / Thursday, March 2nd
Thursday, March 2nd at 8:00 PM, The Kan Zaman Community Ensemble will be at the Little Bridges Theatre at Pomona Colleges in Claremont to give a
"Demonstration Performance" of Classical and Folk Arabic music. They will identify the pieces being performed, the maqam, Iqa' origin and style. There
will be a presentation of a Muwaahshah, Dore, Taqtuqa, Ma'zufa, Debke and Sha'bi singing. The last folk number will be presented on Mizmar and Tabl
Baladi. This is a FREE event and is open to the public.
