Boys, I am new at the Forum - I am trying to know more about Arabic music and belly dance....
Would anyone pls explain it to me what tarabic style exactly is.....
I am Hungarian, I've just started to learn Arabic, I am still struggling with the reading of dictionnaries, so it would also be a great help if you
can give me the meaning of some 10 -15 Arabic words - used almost in all Arabic songs which I give you later, if you are open to help.....

I will try to help you for the words if you want.
For your question abou tarab. Do you ever listen to music and find yourself so absorbed and soo moved that you can feel it through out your body. And
then you feel like the song is taking over your mind like you are drunk with music. It helps to understand the words in music so you can relate to
them. Tarab is ultimatly a feeling not a style. Its often associated with a musical style that is called Mawwal the singers of Mawweel usualy bring
Tarab emotions to the listeners.
A mawwal is a vocal performance to the singer... much like a taqasim is to the musician
Najwa Karam can make you feel those emotions surely.

Here is a sample of George Wassouf's famous Mawwal ( he is nick named the sultan of Tarab because he provokes that in people with his music. He's
around 14 years old on this)
Farid el Atrash is also well known for his Tarab instigating performances both with oud and singing. listen to this wonderfull peice.

Well, Hossam Ramzy seems to have some interesting music towards that area.
There's also http://www.demna.com. Users there upload and give links to a wide variety of arabic music. There are also threads dedicated to compositional
music, although it's not all arabic.
On demna, too, some users translate whole songs.

En mar nagyon sokat tanultam a zenerol ezen a forumon, biztos neked is tudnak segiteni a tanulmanyaidban. A zene es a tanc egyutt jar.

I listened to the musics you linked in, well, I always adored George Wassouf and Farid el Atrach. And I also adore Aalli gara from Assala. I suspect
this is also tarab...

Here's to my best what these words represent. Sometimes it depends on the context as many words often have 2 or 3 meanings.
zekrayat, :Memories
fakkarfi, : thinking of
asarfikri, preocupy my toughts
magrouh, wounded ( hurt)
akhtar, : more. (bigger)
amar, : the moon
koulli, : every (all)
koullu, every ( all ) different conjugation same word
oulli, : say ( tell me)
albi, : heart
hanan : dreams

Thank you Samir, I feel much more confortable now. Your help is a step for me, now I can go to see the dictionnary, see how they really spell, anyway
it is much more motivating to learn Arabic through nice songs. I already know the letters but I still can not read normally in Arabic, now I think I
also have to make some effort and find the other words myself. I will ask you if I am stopped....
