Great oud makers - Manol
Hi everyone
I would like to add a new section to my website on great oud makers, both past and present. I am starting with Manol, so I would be really grateful if
people could send me or post here ANY biographical information they may have, including personal photos, pictures of his ouds etc.
I intend to add more makers soon, so if you have any suggestions of important names, then please let me know.

hi, it's great that you'll be doing this for all the great makers.
the only biographical info. i can find on Manolis Venios right now is that he was born in 1850 and died in 1915 in Istanbul. You should contact Mr.
Peter Kyvelos, he has a lot of information about Venio and many other oud makers of the past.

I also think it's a great idea. I only know a handful of oud makers, and this would be a great way to educate the masses. Good idea, David!
