thanks for posting that. i wish there were more photos.
did you notice the neck on the oud with the red cedar sound board? i've seen guitars and charangos with their necks constructed this way - two
sections of wood joined at an angle - but never an oud. is it common place?

This oud looks very much as the one I had made by a Tunisian. I think Dr Oud has some photos of that oud on his website since the maker based his oud
on Richard's Nahat.
