Lyrics for Nazem El Ghazali
Hello Everyone,
Does anyone have the lyrics to Nazem El Ghazali's song Samra min Qawmi Essa? I really like this song but unfortunately, the arabic is a little
over my head. Here is the link to the song:

Hi Adnan,
Have you tried http://www.iraqimusic.com/lyrics.html ? I didn't find it there myself, but my Arabic is shwayeh, shwayeh. I did find 2 of my own Iraqi favorites
("Fog El Nakhal" and "Tala'a Min Beit Abuha").
Good luck,
John

This is the first part, before "samra2o men ahle 3eesa". It's a poem by Ilya abu Madhi
I'll try to see if the second part is transcribed some where.

I've transcribed the second part below. It seems like a poetic improvisations (ertejal), but it's really, really nice.
