Hi Dansa... si tu veux me rejoindre en privé.... email moi à l'addresse suivante samir_nassif@hotmail.com
You should get in contact with Samir Azar. He's in Halab.. he can definetly guide you trough getting in touch with a good teacher.
You can find oudists like Afif Taian, Mohamed Qadri Dalal, Amir Amouri and many more that hail from Syria. Its really a cradle of arabic music and
especialy the mawoashah style of songs.
May there is a member here by the name of Al-Halabi... he could be of good help too.. try contacting him aswell.

I thought Samir Azar was in Homs (Emessa)?...
Anyways, I don't think you will have difficulties finding a good oud teacher in Syria, encore moin à Alep!!!!!
Conservatoire de Musique Arabe Traditionelle de Alep... p-ê trying to contact them...

Furthermore Halab will be hecapital of Islamic Culture with many events this year.
Dansa tu peux aller voir ce poste
http://www.mikeouds.com/messageboard/viewthread.php?tid=3521
We will wait tr coming back with photos, adventures, sheets, clips and why not? a Nahat oud....
