Fasil Books Available - Series of 15 Makamlar
Hey everyone,
I just wanted to share something very cool. Very recently I wrote to Tulumba requesting that they offer the great Fasil books from Turkey that are a great help for learning makams, and also for becoming familiar
with the common repertoire there.
Within two weeks they responded by putting them in stock and offering them individually, or as a complete package.
There are little mistakes in some places, and also some common melodic phrases are missing sometimes (which you'll hear in any recording), but other
than that, they are a great tool, and lots of fun when practicing with friends.
