Deep "growly" oud suggestions?
Can anyone recomend which Arabic Oud makers make particularly bassy gutsy sounding ouds. And specfic models if posible. I have two turkish ouds tuned
Arabic (and a turko/armenian electric oud tuned Arabic). But for contrast I want something that "growls" more then what these turkish ouds were
designed for.
I haven't encountered many mid level or better arabic ouds so I expect I'm going to have to mail order or ebay something and sell it if it isn't
useful and move on to the next best guess.

I have a Shehata oud that was modelled after a Nahat that has a very looooong sustain and growl in the bass. This oud isn't very loud, but it is very
different sounding than Turkish ouds or even most of Shehata's other ouds that I have heard. I might be selling it, but I am trying different strings
on it and will be away for a couple of weeks, so won't be able to post any sound files for a while. If I sell it, it will be $1200 US plus shipping,
case and gigbag included. Here are some pictures:
