My great experience with Haluk Eraydin
Hello everyone,
Recently my fiance bought me a Haluk beginner model oud to use as a 'travel oud' to take on trips on which I would rather not bring my more expensive
instruments. From the beginning of the transaction, Mr. Eraydin was prompt in answering all of my questions very kindly, and the oud arrived safe and
sound without a scratch in its own plywood case for not one penny more that what Mr. Eraydin quoted me, $300 USD. The oud plays well and could even
be used to perform on in a pinch. If this is Haluk's beginner model than I can only assume his professional models are fine instruments. Mr. Eraydin
even had his grandson send me the oud when he himself was in the hospital to ensure that I received the oud quickly!
For anyone looking for a solid oud to learn on for a good price I highly reccomend contacting Haluk.
I told Mr. Eraydin that I would post a clip of the oud for him, so here is a taqsim...

Hi Amos,
Did you changed the strings which I send on your oud?
They are mass strings. You can get better results with quality strings.
Regards.

Awesome
This oud is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
Was the flavor of the improvision more turkish or Greek? It didn't sound as Arabic. Also, what mail service did u guys use?
How does it sound with an arabic tuning?
