One out of the six double-strings buzzes
Hi dear oud fellows!
I know the subject of buzzing strings has been already dealt and over-dealt with. But in this case my problem is particular: my second double string
(from the higher to the lower i.e. the high C string -my oud is tuned FCGDAF-) is buzzing, while the other are not.
I have already changed the strings, so I'm puzzled: how can I find a remedy to this situation?
Thanks

This must be done carefully and not too much force or you could damage the face. You might consider taking it to a professional.
PLuck the offending string and while it is buzzing, push very lightly on the face over each of the braces at the center and near each edge:
1- below the small roses.
2- approximtely 1/2 way from the small roses and the bridge
3- just forward of the bridge.
If the buzzing stops when you push the face at one spot, it may be a loose brace there. You can also search for a loose brace by muting the strings
with one hand and thumping the face lightly with the side of your thumb and listening for a dull thud or even a rattle. This indicates a loose brace.
The right sound will be a clear drum like tone. Or there could be a crack in the soundboard that can buzz at a certain resonant frequency. Or there
could be a buzz in the pegbox when 2 strings are close or cross over each other. Or .....
