Ouds in Canada
Iam a guitar player with great interest in also
pursuing the oud. Does anyone know of an
oud source in Canada? have read some posts
about ebay ouds and they haven't been positive. Any other comments about ebay. How
about specific dealers?

hello my friend.....first of all you have to choose what type of oud would you like to have,and than,you can get an oud directly from the
oudmakers.....
But depends of what level the oud would you like it to be[student-intermediate-professional]......for a professional sound oud I sugest you not to
take from the ebays....

i think that since you are new to oud, it wouldn't be a half bad idea to get one off of ebay. just make sure to keep the price of the oud around
$120 and make sure that the fingerboard isnt attached as two pieces.

hey, i just checked on ebay right now, and they have a few nice ouds for beginners up for bidding. in particular, there is one oud that is being sold
for $10 starting price, but its a knockoff iraqi one that has the split i was telling you about, so... dont bid for that one!
