how to set the strings on the neck

hello my name is morten i have an oud from yemen with 6 strings and now a have some new strings but i think i put them the wrong way on the neck because it going out of tune all the time ,can someone help i would bee very thankfull.
and if someone have yemen music im intrested to exchange.
