Famous oudi Necati Celik was in a car accident
famous turkish oudi mr. necati celik was in major car accident when he was coming from a concert in IRAQ and in the car there was 2 other famous
players with him ney player mr. omer erdogdular and kanun player halil karaduman as far as i heard noone died mr necati celik broke his collarbone and
other 2 masters have much more serious injuries i hope god willing they all will get well soon cos we need to hear much more and more of them.
may god help them on those hard days

The last I heard, Omer and Halil were in intensive care in a hospital in Gaziantepe (southeastern Turkey), but alive.
Hoping for a speedy recovery...

I just spoke with Necati via phone, he sounds like he is doing well despite suffering from part of his right shoulder breaking, they call it the
"bridge". not sure what that is in English. He's in Istanbul since a few days and says hi to all of his friends. He says in about 1 1/2 months he'll
be back on track. Necati was in the front passenger seat while Ömer and Halil were in the back sleeping. The two of them have suffered the most
injuries and are still in intensive care but are awake and it sounds like they will be fine.
Wow, how randomly strange and scary life can be sometimes.

I talked with Necati on Friday afternoon.I found him at home. He had a good health and a good moral.The information of Adam were accurate. He told me
about Omer who were still in the intensive care unit in a Hospital in the Syria /Turkey border(Tuesday night).Halil were in better condition, with
problems in the waist, in the same hospital with Omer.
This morning ,a friend of mine, the neyzen N.P. ,told me that according to the latest information he received via e-mail ,the situation of the health
of Omer were stabilised recently.
I hope and i wish full recovery for them.

I know that Necati was scheduled to play at a sema in Portland Oregon on the night of Mevlana's wedding, but that was scheduled before the
accident...
