Hi Jameel,
I asked Rahim about the maker of his oud a little while ago, and here is what he replied:
"The maker of my beautiful oud with the leaves and bird motifs is Farhad Hassan. He's my childhood friend and is one of the most accomplished oud
makers in the world and trained with Mohammad Fadal. He's also an oud player and violinst. His ouds have been purchased and played by famous oud
masters including: Munir Bashir, Salim Abdul Kareem and others.
He has a small studio in Baghdad...if people need contact information for him, I can provide it."
