arabic ouds in new york?
does anyone know where I can buy a
good arabic oud in new york?
I look pretty hard but I couldn't find a store that sold any decent ouds.
please help!!

Look up Najib Shaheen. He is a great oud musician and is also a master oud maker. He is in the Village. He often has several ouds for sale.
Usually he has improved the stability of the ouds before he sells them.

3 ouds for sale in New York
Hi,
I have 3 professional Syrian ouds for sale and I live in New York. To see my ouds go to http://www.photoisland.com and enter the username vamina and the password 3suk ( all one word no space). you will be directed to a page, look at
the left colon and find a folder with the name sukar and click on it you will find 12 pictures each 4 pictures represent one oud.

I too would recommend talking to Najib Shaheen. He usually has several ouds in various price ranges, from beginner to professional quality.

However, the Sukar ouds are excellent as well...! (Well known throughout the Middle East!)
