Now I've been playing a year I want to work through an oud method, can anyone recommend one. I only speak english - is it possible to work through a
Turkish 'Metodu' without speaking Turkish. Iam keen to start. I am using a Turkish oud and tuning so will probably stick to this.
I've read that the method from Targan is understandable for english speakers as long as you already read music. I'm not sure what playing level
you're at but there is also the method by Bilezikjian and the one offered on Jameel's site.
