I want to say thanks to all who have replied to my recent posts, asking for advise on figuring out what kind of oud to get. I have purchased an
Egyptian one from e-bay. I expect it may be student quality, but as a student I hope it will be appropriate. I also wanted to comment on the general
tone and feel of the oud forums here. I find them to be warm and welcoming. Very nice introduction to the instrument and the community.
