Poor Business practises


My oud from Gokce should arrive soon. He emailed me saying that for safety, mine will be sent with a more expensive professional case than I paid for, and I do not have to pay the extra fee. That sounds like good business practice to me, but I will keep you posted as to how it all turns out.

Sorry to hear of your problems, Todd. What a shame!

I'm no expert on these matters, but doesn't the shipping comany or postal service bear some responsibility for this damage too?

It would depend on who they used to ship the oud. The postal service in america doesn't insure things automatically... I'm not sure how it works when it is an international package being passed on from another country.

I'm sorry to hear you never got things worked out Todd. I can't believe it has gone on this long. Hopefully Gokce will see this and remedy the situation... I know a lot of people on here have been interested in his ouds.
