hello everyone,
here is 'siroon agcheck', an armenian song from my group's new CD. the group is called 'okbari' and the CD is called 'Armenian and Anatolian Folk
Music'. i have posted a version of this song before, but this is the first time i have recorded it with my group. this song was the first song i
learned to play on the oud. my teacher, the late alan shavarsh bardezbanian taught me this beautiful tune during our first lesson together. i hope
you all enjoy it.

zalzal,
thank you for the compliments. and thank you also for sharing our website with the forum, it was very kind of you. here are the words to this song, as
you requested:
Sweet girl, sweet love, come.
Come take my soul, I can't live without you.
Wherever you go, take me with you.
Take me with you, sweet one, don't be shy.
You are like sugar, my sweetness,
Let me be shoes for your feet.
If I were close to you, I would put a ring on your finger.
I would give you a kiss,
Then surrender my life to you.
This song was written in 1936 by Udi Hrant Kenkulian and was dedicated to his wife, Aghavni.
