INCOGNITO CD label
After the great thread on "awful arabic music", I thought why not trying to help by promoting those who are trying to produce a different kind, less
commercial Arabic music.
Incognito is this kind of label without a budget for international promotion (...and yes I know the guys and I don't pretend being objective) , and
you guys on these forums are those who are supposed to "fish" for this kind of music.
Incognito produces different styles, so no one is supposed to like all their CDs (I like a lot some of them and less others) they are supposed to
address different tastes and are still at the stage of trial and error.
That's why it would be great to have your feedback.
That's the label's statement:
"Our first aim is to create an alternative Arabic music scene by producing artists from Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Egypt and other
neighbouring countries and developing a panarab distribution network and to give it wide exposure and support."
