Old Fauzy Monshed Oud
I made friends with the owner of a shisha cafe over the past few months and he decided to finaly show me his oud made by fauzy monshed.
ITs made in 1989 but it is in worst shape then some 100 year old ouds. it has cracks all over the back the face its basicaly falling appart. It has
been repaired before but not verry skillfully with a mix of sand and glue it would seem. nasty stuff.
He wants people to be able to play with it at the cafe but in its condition, I would be scared to tune it even. so he asked me fix it. he doesnt want
to spend money to have it fixed professionaly yet he doesnt want to sell it either!!
Just immagine how nice it smells as it has been in a shisha cafe for over 5 years.

Yah TP I think its him.
Thanks for pointing it out. But now that I see what the oud looks like Iam pretty sure he is the one who made the repairs instead of the oud being
made for him. Now judging by what is inside the oud.. that paste of glue and sand in there is scary!
Anyhow he does play nice...
