Hi

Can anyone help me in locating the following books:

(1) 'Dirasat al-Ud' by Abd al-Munin Arafah and Safar Ali

(2) 'Al-Manhaj al-Hadith fi Dirasat al-Ud' by Linda Fatah Allah and Mahmud Kamil

Thanks Adel, I'll contact Al-Saqi Books right away. I saw their shop recently (when I went to the Asim al-Chalabi concert in the Kufa Gallery next door), but it was closed at the time.

Hi Zul

Unfortunately I did not have the equipment to make an audio or video recording of the concert. However, Asim al-Chalabi played mostly the tracks from his CD 'Monajat'. Do you have this CD? It is available from Maqam.com

Is anyone familiar with the following book, which I saw advertised in an online Arabic bookstore:

"Tarikh alat al-'ud wa sina'atuhu" (History of the Oud and its Manufacture) by Sanat Hamdi, Egypt, 2000.
