great looking oud
This is obviously a great looking oud, the player from his technique is a very good one. I'm very disappointed by the sound of the oud very brassy and
shallow sound, I hope this is a result of the recording and not how this oud sounds, because as I think it is really a piece of art.

I agree, nice playing but I wasnt impressed with the sound of the Nahat at all.

could it be something wrong with the strings?
They just dont look right when he's playing. I dont like the sound of his nylon strings.
Especialy the nylon dd.

He owns more than one Nahat. I dont think the one that is playing in the background on his site is the same oud he is playing on youtube

I don't think that you can tell from the video camera recording . . . it does have some nice characteristics that come through, it could just be a bad
recording.
But not all Nahats sound good either, some are clunkers.
