Looking for an ONNIK KARIBYAN oud

Does anyone know where I can get an OGRINAL ONNIK KARIBYAN oud? One with the original front - no alterations?

OK, I know this will be a tough one to answer, but what does an original Karibyan go for? I am sure that is a tough tough question, but can anybody give me a ballpark estimate?

What an Original Karibian costs...

I payed $3500 for the one I got. Everything was original except the pickguard - which had been changed, and a pickup had been installed. It just depends on what the seller wants: I know of one that sold for $1500 a few months ago, and its a good one - the guy just wasn't looking to make a ton of $$ off the sale. I've been playing oud since 1975 and the one I bought was the first one I'de seen for sale that I had a chance to buy. Good luck...Paul
