Two Nahats

I don't know what to say but these two ouds are identical. The first one have previously been posted here and I believe it was sold for $8000 but the second one is an identical except the bowl. The first one is said to be made by Abdo.
1st Abdo Is this an Abdo?

Best wishes

To notice is that the central ivory/bone circle in the rosettes are on both ouds very simple and have not the intricate pattern that we use to find on Abdos work. Have they been replaced or these ouds some sort of ¨budget¨ student ouds? I remember Dr oud mentioning somewhere about such instruments by Nahat.

Best wishes

The 1st oud doesn't mention Abdos name in the label, it says "work of Nahat Brothers" ikhwan nahat. It looks like a genuine nahat though. I think that the more simple bone rosette was more common on their lower end models. My father used to own a nahat from the that time period and it looked almost the same as this.
i hope this is helpfull.
