My own Oud
Hello my friends! i want to show you my own Oud, it was made by my father, he is a pioneer in this area of making instruments, but it seems and sounds
very well. The link:
MyOud
As you can see, it's sound case is not very common, a guitar's sound case was used for it. This is an experiment; but hear how sounds:
LittleMaqam
please! ask about it everything you want to know...
Regards & hope you like it.
Pedro.

Pedro,
I was able to listen to it, I think it sounds quite good. How old is it? It looks very cool.

you know, it is not very old, probably has 4 years; the wood probably more...
It had some modifications at the beginning, the tail piece was near the edge, and
and some other details. The idea of keep the deep sound of the oud, was achieved by using a sound case like this. Obviously, was more easy to
make.
Maybe, if you find a guitar or bass acoustic sound case, you could try too...
Regards.

Very cool,
I use 12-string guitars as Lutes/Ouds.
Getting one soon from a relative.
