Abd Al Rachma Gaboukshi?

Hello,
Has anyone heard of an Arabic oud instruction book by a teacher named, I think, Abd Al Rachma Gaboukshi? Maybe from Syria?

"Jabakji" is the usual spelling.

I have a copy somehere around the house but haven't seen it in a couple of years (it's that sort of house). It's in Arabic with some captions and the like in French, with a subtitle in French "Methode du luth oriental". There is also a set of six (?) tapes.
