Handmade Iranian oud for sale
Dear sir,
A friend has brought in to us an oud made in 1982 in Iraq or Iran by a maker called Mohamed Hussain Furjani.
The instrument is handmade and we wanted to know how to value it. We have been asked to sell it on his behalf and the proceeds are for a charity
raising funds for schools in Iraq.
The instrument is in a fair condition structurally and is strung but one of the rosettes on the front has been damaged and is missing completely.
Do you have any knowledge of this maker to help us find out more?
Is it worthwhile us sending some images for you to get a better idea of the saleable value of this oud?
