They are just releasing a new cd called "Majâz" i think end october or november. In fact it will be a quatuor because percussionist Yousef Hbeisch is
also performing in the CD. Then they will be touring France end 2007. And the USA as frm february 2008.

I haven't been in chat rooms in a long time, but I'm guessing it means "over the top", an expression describing something excessive ...
I can't see what is it that is excessive, though ... great chemisty and great sounds ..

Amtaha, yes you're right it does mean over the top, - but that is not my opinion, -I love them, just meant that some people might think it ott,-

I personally think they are over the top in their playing. They lack a certain "looseness", and they don't emphasize the difference between the maqams
enough, it always sounds more or less like nahawand, regardless of the actual "scale".
