I think they're Polish. I have one of their CDs. I hadn't imagined they had a singer who could do that! Very impressive.

Fabulous!!! Early Music is what got me interested in Middle Eastern music back in the 70s. I had bought a Renaissance lute and then had to get an
oud. Very first oud music I heard was the LP "Ode to an OUd" by John Berberian. It is still one of my all time favorite recordings...
