That is "Ana Hawayt" by Sayed Darwish. It was covered by many, including Abdel Wahab, Riad al Sunbati, Suad Mohammad, etc. . . It's a standard.
It's a form called "Dour" (English means cycle)

indeed. As far as I can remember, in the Ana hawet (when the sentence ana hawet is sung), Abdel Wahab substituted a natural A to an Ab (just one
note). So clever! A small and a huge difference at the same time. Amazing

Yeah I thought it was Sayyed Darwish.
Hey Samir,
I've been around man. I was so busy with school the last few semesters but will be graduating tomorrow! I'm going to have the entire semester off
before starting back up in the fall. I will be spending some quality time with my oud in the next few months.

Revaldo It is a originally a sayed darwish song, but Abdel Wahab has sung it as well, bringing some interesting small modifications.

Given that the dulab is "Dulab Kurd" its probably in Kurd, at least the beginning. . .
Here's the dulab http://www.issaboulos.com/archive/scores/Dulab-Kurd1.pdf

Thanks guys,
Thank you very much Alami! We should start a thread where everyone learns a song together. Similar to the one Jameel started a while back to learn
a maqam.
Sam, weren't you the one that sent me that CD with all the Sayed Darweesh songs a long time ago? I found this song in it so thank you very much.
