help identifying oud
Hi everybody
Can anyone help me identify this oud. I've had it a while bought in UK via second hand ethnic instrument site. The is no label inside but a small red
sticker on the face below the bridge ( see pale mark) but was removed by the seller. The face is unvarnished. The scale length is 60 cm. action is
very high but tone is good in bass and treble ok. It is vey light in weight in comparison to my Sheta. I'm going to get the neck reset as a bit
loose. Any clues to origin. Idid see a very similar oud being sold on ebay about 3 months ago from an Israeli site. Thanks

Thanks for the information Veyselmaster. I 'm hoping to restore it into better condition. As you can see I have the strings going through the bridge
holes to help reduce the action as the neck needs re setting and the face has risen quite a bit at the bridge. Of course the violin pegs need
replacing.
